Highlights of hospital patient surveys

NHS Hospitals that we work with have conducted patient surveys to measure the effectiveness of our patient information screens within their hospitals.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Antenatal Clinic

• 77% of women said they found the screen a useful source of information – compared with 40% who found leaflets useful and 35% who found posters useful

Paediatric Outpatients

• 86% of parents said the screen provided useful or extremely useful information

Top line result for screens in A&E, Clinic 2 and Clinic 4

• 82% of patients said that the patient information screens made them more aware of the services that Moorfields provides.

Top-line result for screens in Pharmacy, Imaging and Antenatal• 90% of patients said that the patient information screens made them more aware of the services that UCLH provides.

Top-line result for screens in St Bartholomew, Royal London and Grahame Hayton Unit

• 85% of patients said that the screens either improved or greatly improved their experience of visiting the hospital.

Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust

Top line results for screen in ante-natal clinic:

• 84% said the information on the screen either extremely improved or improved their experience

• 73% clearly remembered seeing the Philips AVENT guide to breast feeding
